Students izstrādā ar meža nozari saistītu kursa darbu, kas parāda studenta prasmes pielietot apgūtās teorētiskās zināšanas praksē. Studenti iegūst izpratni par mežsaimniecības uzņēmumu darbības plānošanu, biznesa plāna funkcijām un struktūru.
Learning outcomes and their assessment
Manages the structure of the business plan, development technology, tax calculation, application of methods. Course work is able to draw up a workforce and material resources, marketing and financial plan. Course work Able to determine the most advantageous and most appropriate compromise between the company's wishes and practical possibilities when preparing a business plan.

The course work must be developed independently.
Criteria for Evaluating Learning Outcomes
Topicality of the topic; assessment of the achievement of the goal and objectives; implementation of applied methods; work structure and design; used literature and information sources; presentation skills. In defending the thesis, the student answers questions about the developed course project and the researched topic. As a result, the course supervisor evaluates the developed and defended course work.
