Course abstract |
The study course provides the knowledge on the newest tendencies in forest sector. Such knowledge gives opportunity for student to be competent in nowadays timber harvesting operations and to understand essence of development processes. Final part of the course is devoted to an insight in basic principles of relationship between finances and innovations. |
Learning outcomes and their assessment |
During the course studies students will obtain the knowledge on the necessity of innovations in the forest sector, prerequisites for implementation of innovations, sequence of EU structural fund acquirement and necessary documentation. Students will acquire skills to define their own viewpoint concerning the choice of suitable technology and equipment choice for forest operations on the basis of economics reasons and environmental factor estimations. Competence to forecast and to evaluate necessity of innovation implementation in particular forest enterprise. |
