| Course abstract |
| General questions of biomass utilisation for heat energy and bio fuel are to be observed in the first part of the study course. The more detailed technological and technical solutions how to gather and to store forest biomass and how to produce energy out of it is the subject of the second part of the study course. |
| Learning outcomes and their assessment |
| During the course studies students will obtain the knowledge of the forecast of available bio energetic resources, and appropriate utilisation of them in heating plants. Sufficient competence to define own viewpoint concerning the utilisation of forest biomass, and the skills of the choice of suitable technology and equipment for it, as well as ability to expect impacts of market situation are another important qualities available for students. |
