Course abstract
Students learn and acquire skills to use mathematical statistics methods with the emphasis on applied mathematical statistics, statistical methodology and data interpretation and improvement, with the aim of advancing statistics for environment, ecology and environmental health, and practice using valid statistics.
Learning outcomes and their assessment
Knowledge and understanding of ANOVA, correlation, rank correlation, regression analysis, time series analysis and qualitative data analysis in accordance with the objectives of the study tasks; skills to practical application of statistical methods to environmental science; competence to analyze and systematize the data analysis results and use them in scientific work.
