Course abstract
The research practice is envisaged for the reinforcement of theoretical knowledge and acquisition of practical skills in the specialty branch of information technologies (IT), where the research is related to the applied aspects of informatics and computer systems. The research object of the IT sector is the obtaining of information, its processing and application in physical systems with the purpose of their classification, description, analysis, designing, production, maintaining and management.
Learning outcomes and their assessment
• Knowledge - is able to show the depth or extends knowledge and understanding of the IT industry informatics and computer systems applied aspects; is able to apply knowledge of IT research related to the cross discipline fields;
• skills – is able to independently use the theory, methods and problem-solving skills to carry out information acquisition, processing and using in the physical systems for the following classification, description, analysis, project, production, service and management. Is able to forcefully explain and discuss about the particular IT problem at study; • competence – is able to independently formulate and critically analyze the IT industry complex research and professional problems in master thesis. Able to integrate knowledge from different fields, as well to contribute to the creation of new knowledge, research methods of operation, development, and demonstrate understanding of ethical responsibility for the results of scientific or professional activity
