Course abstract
Students study quantitative system modeling and analysis methods of optimal decision making, acquire practical skills in mathematical modeling with Graphic Linear Programming Optimizer (GLP); MS Office Excel optimization tool Solver, Decision Tree and Queuing models; project management software MS Office Project and The Analytic Hierarchy Process.
Learning outcomes and their assessment
• Knowledge about operation research methods in engineering and economic with computer.
• Skills – build the quantitative model for study the economical systems with GLP, MS Office Excel (optimization tool Solver, Decision Tree and Queuing models;) and MS Office Project as well as decision making with Analytic Hierarchy Process; define the optimal using of resources in economics. • Competence – knowledge and ability for optimal and environmental safety decision planning and making process in economics with information technologies.
