Course abstract
The aim of the course is to deliver the theoretical knowledge and practical skills, which are necessary for science researches. Besides student make knows about sciences like system's organization and rule of government institutions and science's resources. In the same way they are coming in for topicality in the science researches and innovations.
Learning outcomes and their assessment
Knowledge – students obtain knowledge on a methodology and methods of economic research and their application in scientific research and have a critical understanding of theoretical and empirical, fundamental and applied researches in economics; skills – students can formulate a problem, questions to be studied, a research aim, research tasks, and a hypothesis if needed. Students are able to independently obtain, select, and analyze information, select appropriate research methods for obtaining and processing data and justify their choice, interpret a result of data processing, formulate conclusions adequate to the result, and tackle problems in economics; competences – students gain knowledge and practical skills to develop new approaches in tackling problems in economics, are able to independently structure their studies, show a scientific approach in tackling problems, take responsibility on the course and result of a research, and are aware of the most important terms and relations.
