Course abstract | |
The course imparts knowledge about financial management in an enterprise, it studies the purpose, structure and functions of financial management and the performance of a finance director. Students build a profound understanding of the choice of financial resources, financial planning and assessment of paying capacity as well as acquire practical skills in financial planning and analysis. | |
Learning outcomes and their assessment | |
1)Demonstrate the understanding of financial management in an enterprise and the functions of financial management - practical assignments.
2)Demonstrate the knowledge of the functions of financial management - test with calculations. 3)Demonstrate the knowledge of financial analysis, financial planning, capital management, lending and forms of payment settlement - test with calculations. 4)Demonstrate the knowledge of the role of financial management in an enterprise - independent work. 5)Independently draw up financial plans, calculate the cost of financial capital, assess the financial situation, draw up a loan repayment schedule and perform other calculations - test with calculations. 6)Reasonably explain and discuss financial management matters - group work. 7)Independently acquire necessary information for studying enterprise finance topics - independent work. 8)Responsibly plan the completion of the assignments given - practical assignments. 9)Communicate with others and engage in group work - group work. 10)Present the results of studying a topic chosen - group work, independent work. 11)Independently formulate and analyse the results of activities of an enterprise finance director – test. 12)Independently formulate conclusions based on the calculations performed - tests, practical assignments. 13)Apply the acquired knowledge to solve financial math problems - practic |

During the study course students have to pass 2 tests

Student has been working on a selected financial topic of the company (ten pages, within the specified time for submission) |
