|Students will learn computer hardware, the principles according to which work computer, interaction between computer components, as well as individual computer electronic components and construction activities. Students are introduced to components such as processors, memory, bus, power supply, BIOS, expansion cards, ports, computer control, computer repairs and computer upgrades. Computer external devices (peripherals). Computer input units and output units. The most important external equipment is designed their development over time. Get knowledge about technological principles for the work.|
|Learning outcomes and their assessment|
|As a result of learning this course students get:
• knowledge about computer hardware, mutual cooperation and architecture of computer parts and operation principles of external equipment;
• skills to repair and upgrade computer and peripheral equipment, swap the obsolete elements; • competence to use hardware parts in the specified computer, to justify the purchase needs of a computer in personal and business, to justify the purchase of external equipment, to justify the replacement computer element.
