Course abstract
Students will learn computer hardware, the principles according to which the work computer, interaction between computer components, as well as individual computer electronic components and construction activities. Students are introduced to, processors, memory, bus, power supply, BIOS, computer control, expansion cards, ports, computer repairs and computer upgrades. Theoretical knowledge is reinforced by laboratory work.
Learning outcomes and their assessment
Students who complete this study course acquire:
Knowledge about computer hardware, structure and mutual cooperation between different parts, As well as operating principles of peripheral devices.
Skills necessary to repair a computer and peripheral devices, replace and upgrade outdated parts. Competence in using the right parts for any given computer, knowing what computer is best for personal or public needs, knowing what devices and peripheral devices should be installed, and how to do it.
