Course abstract
The study course introduces quality management essence and systems, standard kinds of it and their role in the development of product and enterprise quality systems, as well as frequently used quality management tools.
Learning outcomes and their assessment
Upon completing the course, the student will acquire the knowledge about the essence of quality management and quality management systems, their importance in the field, systems application principles and frequently used quality management tools.
Skills: use the acquired knowledge in professional settings; perform in accordance with quality management system standards; be able to identify problems and find solutions to improve quality management system. Competence: thoughtfully apply acquired knowledge and skills in order to organise the enterprise or process quality purposeful and effective management , as well as be able to offer justified suggestions for its improvement.
