Course abstract | |
Students get knowledge in tourism, its point and development. Within the framework of course students study and evaluate tourism resources, analyze the product of tourism and its diversity of creating, study the Latvian tourism legislation, analyze different types of tourism and its development in Latvia, make the route of tourism. | |
Learning outcomes and their assessment | |
Knowledge and understanding about tourism sector, its goals, objects and tendencies, as well as general conceptions of tourism
skills to appraise equitable the supply of tourism service; to analyze the current supply of tourism service and to see beyond the demand of tourism service in future; to work out the offer of package tourism service for certain consumer group; competence to be able to comprehend the common situation of tourism sector and to give advice for its development. |
