Course abstract
Study Course gives knowledge about errors in measurements and measures of accuracy. Discussed principle of least squares method, the measurement dispersion, correlation and forms of regression analysis. Will address issues regarding equalization of the equal and variety precision direct measurements. Alignment of indirect and conditional measurements. Computer program uses in geodetic measurement mathematical processing.
Learning outcomes and their assessment
After completing the course student will have:
• knowledge of geodetic measurement errors and their types, all kind of geodetic network equalization types and methods, as well as computer program use for mathematical processing of geodetic measurements;
• skills to independently perform the evaluation of the resulting task condition, use the acquired solution methods for different types of geodetic tasks, perform the analysis of the obtained results; • competence to be able to choose the most appropriate traverse or leveling network adjustment method, able to detect the possible measurement errors, perform the evaluation of the results.
