| Course abstract | |
| The study course aims to gain in-depth knowledge of cadastral surveying systems and their application in solving practical tasks and scientific issues. Students acquire entrenched knowledge in matters of modern cadastral surveying system, it`s objectives and tasks. The program relates to legal arrangement of cadastral surveying and improvement of surveying system. Knowledge, acquired in learning process, can be used for working in state and municipality institutions, as well as in research and development of projects in area of cadastral surveying. | |
| Learning outcomes and their assessment | |
| • knows and understands the general issues of cadastral surveying, as well as on surveying of land parcels, buildings and sets of premises – 1st and 2nd test, seminars;
• can perform investigation in area of cadastral surveying and use survey methods without assistance – presentations at seminars, report; • is able to collaborate with supervisor of study course to manage processing and scientific evaluation of achieved results – work in the auditorium and seminars. |

1. General issues of land cadastral survey (1 h). 2. Accuracy of land cadastral survey (1 h). 3. Calculation of areas. Land uses (1 h). 4. Encumbrances on real estate(1 h). 5. Surveying networks. Information required for measurement (2 h). 6. Cadastral survey of a land unit (2 h). 7. Cadastral survey of a part of a land unit (1 h). 8. Land cadastral survey documents (2 h ). 9. Rights and obligations of persons involved in the cadastral survey of land (1 h). 10. 1st test: Land cadastral survey (1h). 11. Technical inventory of buildings (1945 - 2005) (2 h). 12. General issues of cadastral surveying of buildings (2 h). 13. Cadastral survey of buildings (2 h). 14. Cadastral survey of groups of premises (2 h). 15. | Requirements for awarding credit points | |
| Final assessment of the study course consists of successful results in:
- 2 tests; - individually prepared presentation referred at the seminar; - individually prepared report. |

| Individually performed selection and studies of subject-specific literature and legislation on a cadastral survey of buildings, groups of premises, parts of engineering structures and land units. Individually performed selection and studies of subject-specific literature and legislation on a technical inventory of buildings. Preparation for seminars and development of a report. | |
| Criteria for Evaluating Learning Outcomes | |
| The student performance is evaluated cumulatively by considering obtained results during the semester as follow:
- 2 tests 50%; - presentation at the seminar – 25%; - report – 25%. |
