| Landscape inventory aims, systems, methods, process and use of data for landscape research, monitoring, planning and management. | |
| Learning outcomes and their assessment | |
| After completing the course student will have:
• knowledge of landscape inventory stages and methods; knowledge of distinguish approaches in landscape inventory of different landscape types; knowledge of terminology used in landscape architecture; • skills to investigate and evaluate a research area by using landscape inventory methods; skills to present obtained results and main conclusions from the study; • competence to carry out a scientific research in landscape architecture and planning; competence to work according to the Latvia legislative documentation; competence to appreciate heritage and nature values in economical development of area. |
