Course abstract
The aim of the course is to give knowledge about sustainable landscape development and management, securing of biological diversity in rural and urban landscape. Students learn about agriculture, forestry and tourism impact on landscape, acquire management of urban territory landscapes – parks, protection plantings, city and town forests and get acquainted with administrative and financial structure of landscape management.
Learning outcomes and their assessment
Students will have knowledge about sustainable landscape development and management, skills to evaluate and give advise on landscape, territory and greenery management, prepare maintenance work time table, competence to prepare guidelines, methodology, recommendations for landscape protection, management and reconstruction.
