Course abstract
During the practice in general education schools, students as an assistant of a teachers of Home Economics and Technologies/ Household and Informatics/ Visual Art develop their pedagogical competences, including use of theoretical knowledge. Students work out the methodology of a particular theme, make teaching/learning materials in the Technologies of Textiles: sewing, weaving or the Applied Engineering Technology: metal processing.
Learning outcomes and their assessment
Knowledge - an understanding of teaching activities Home Economics and Technologies / Household and Informatics / Visual Arts lessons;
Skills - to plan, organize, and evaluate the learning process, to option a teaching methods, to work out lessons plan and materials, to develop tests, run them and evaluate the achievements of pupils and the dynamics of Home Economics and Technologies / Household and Informatics / Visual Arts lessons;
Competence - the ability to promote students' cognitive and social skills, ability to evaluate teaching effectiveness and improve the learning process, the ability to evaluate self - performance and improve self - professional competence.
