Course abstract

In the Bachelor thesis student must show creativity and initiative in carrying out a demanding investigation or design project within a specific topic of forest sciences. Student must synthesise information from both within the total course and from external sources. Thesis will contain at least analytical, competitional and experimental elements.

Learning outcomes and their assessment

Knowledge - students will acquire extended theoretical and practical knowledge about the problem of research, knowledge about the requirements of the development of the bachelor’s Thesis, summarizing and analysis of obtained results.
• skills - to analyse the obtained results, to develop conclusions and to present the bachelor’s Thesis to the State Examination Commission; • competence - students are competent to carry out research work in the branch of forest science.

Fully developed and successfully defended bachelor's thesis, assessment - mark.

Preparation for the development of the bachelor's thesis, using literature and consulting with the bachelor's thesis supervisor.

The bachelor's thesis is evaluated by the State Examination Commission
