Study course familiarises with the rules of perspective, its application in fine arts, drawing of simple and more complex object and different techniques. It develops imagination creative thinking in space. The man’s visual aspect, natures in large dimension ( landcape) and in miniature have been studied.
Knowledge: At the end of the course the student knows the theory of drawing composition, construction, perspective and volume formation, understands their interrelations and application.
Skills: Can construct and draw spatial settings, apply various drawing techniques. Acquires streaking skills. Gains knowledge and skills in the construction and drawing of cubes, rectangles, spheres, cylinders, cones, prisms, household items, draperies, accessories, footwear and design, human, natural elements, small natural forms, urban and environmental elements.
Competences: Students are able to use the knowledge and skills acquired in the course in professional activities and development.
Full time intramural studies:
1.Characterization of the subject, necessary materials and tools. Lecture 2h
2.Preparing for work. Hand exercises, striking. Technique-pencil. Laboratory works.
3. Perspective laws, their application in drawing. Construction. Lecture 2h
4. Light moon relations, tonality. Light, shadow. spatiality, extent relations, shading. Lecture 2h.
5. Construction of simple geometric shapes. Cube. Rectangle construction and shaping. Technique-pencil. Laboratory works 2h
6. Simplification of the volume of simple geometric shapes (shading). Cube. Technique-pencil. Laboratory works 2h
7. Creating the volume of simple geometric shapes. Prism construction and shaping. Technique-pencil. Laboratory works 2h

16. Creativity development tasks. Urban drawings. Drawing interesting environmental elements. Technique-mixed. Laboratory works 2h
Part time extramural studies:
All topics specified for full time studies are accomplished, but the number of contact hours is one half of the number specified in the calendar
Performing laboratory work (drawings) according to the theme, increasing the complexity of the installation. Examination, evaluation and analysis of works (drawings) at the end of the semester, test with a mark.
Drawings in specific techniques are made according to the topics, observing the conditions of perspective, construction, volume formation and work design. If necessary, the work started in the lesson is completed independently. Tasks of laboratory work and their degree of complexity may vary according to the level of preparation.
Evaluation is performed throughout the course with the final evaluation view. Evaluates the composition of drawings, proportions, lights, spatiality, individual growth. Evaluates the representation of knowledge, skills and competencies in drawings that are performed in laboratory work.
The evaluation of the study course depends on the cumulative evaluation of the laboratory work of the study course.
Laboratory works are evaluated in accordance with the established evaluation procedures and criteria.
Laboratory works (drawings) are evaluated according to the criteria:
1. compliance with the laws of object construction and perspective 2 points;
2. position on the page 1 point;
3. Light/ shadow ratio and form 2 points;
4. tonal ratio 2 points;
Strait 5 1 point;
6. work culture 1 point;
7. growth1 point.
When evaluating creativity in development work, the creativity factor is evaluated.
