Course abstract

Students learn the issues of land management and land surveying in land management, real estate valuation, spatial planning and land surveying. The study course provides knowledge about working time planning and standardization issues in land use planning and surveying works. Students gain knowledge about certification opportunities. Acquires the basic principles of land management and surveying work record keeping documents.

Learning outcomes and their assessment

1. Manages the content and tasks of the organization of land use and land surveying works, their historical development, planning of land use and land surveying works - laboratory works
2. Is able to apply work organization methods in land use planning and surveying work planning - laboratory work
3. Able to organize the performance of land surveying and surveying works and manage the work team for purposeful work - laboratory works

4. Is able to critically evaluate his / her knowledge and skills, is able to be responsible for the quality of his / her work - laboratory works, test work

Full time studies:
1. Content, course and requirements of the study course (1 h)
2. The concept and tasks of the organization of land surveying and surveying works, the historical development of these works (1 h)
3. Content of land surveying and surveying works (1 h)
4. Organization of land surveying and surveying works in a team (1 h)
5. Working time planning and accounting (1 h)
6. Planning of human resources for land surveying and surveying works (1 h)
7. Certification in the field of land use planning and surveying works (1 h)
8. Content and organization of record keeping documents in the field of land use planning and surveying works (1 h)
Laboratory work 1 - Content of employment contracts (3 h)
Laboratory work 2 - Work planning (3 h)
Laboratory work 3 - working time planning (3 h)
Laboratory work 4 - working time timing (3 h)
Laboratory work 5 - work organization in surveying companies (3 h)
Laboratory work 6 - organization of work in the State Land Service (3 h)

All topics specified for full-time studies are implemented, but the number of contact hours is 1/2 of the specified number of hours

Requirements for awarding credit points

A test with a mark consists of:
• written test paper on the theoretical material acquired in the study course;

• successfully completed and credited laboratory works

Description of the organization and tasks of students’ independent work

Preparation of descriptions of the progress of laboratory work.
For the acquisition of professional competencies of the study course. the necessary studies of the scientific and study literature (normative documents, monographs, scientific articles and their collections, conference and seminar materials, specialized scientific periodicals) indicated by the lecturer.

Criteria for Evaluating Learning Outcomes

1. The test is obtained after the knowledge test in the written test at the end of the study course and summarizing the results of laboratory work in the study course.

2. After the development of laboratory works and preparation of their descriptions, it is assessed whether students demonstrate knowledge and critical understanding of the content, planning and implementation of land use and land surveying work, whether they have acquired skills to independently perform land use and land surveying activities, and whether assessment of problems related to the organization of works in the field of land use planning and surveying and elimination of shortcomings.
