Course abstract

The course is intended for carrying out research work according to the research plan, summarizing and analysing the obtained results. The research results part of the dissertation will be developed.

Learning outcomes and their assessment

Knowledge:
- doctoral student is familiar with research methodology;
- has acquired basic knowledge in research;
- transfers knowledge of research results into promotion work
Evaluation - analysis of research results.
Skills:
- is able to conduct research in a planned and independent manner;
- is able to present research results in a scientifically sound and comprehensible manner.
Evaluation - analysis of research process and obtained results.
Competencies:
- Independently conducts research, analyzes the reliability of the obtained results, reflects the research results.
Evaluation - discussion with the supervisor.

Course Content(Calendar)

Doctoral student independently:
1. Conducts studies in accordance with the timetable.
2. Accumulates, summarizes the obtained research results.
3. Performs the analysis of the obtained results.
4. Creates a draft of the research results section of the doctoral thesis.

5. Submits the obtained research results to the supervisor.

Requirements for awarding credit points

Discussion of research results and dissertation results with the supervisor.

Description of the organization and tasks of students’ independent work

The doctoral student independently conducts research, works on the results section of the doctoral thesis, and, if necessary, consults with the supervisor.

Criteria for Evaluating Learning Outcomes

Processing and analysis of research results, partially developed research results section of the doctoral thesis. The number of scientific literature sources has been supplemented as necessary.
