Course abstract

The course is intended for planning research work, developing a calendar plan for conducting research and starting research. After the initial identification and analysis of literature, the collection and processing of information will continue.

Learning outcomes and their assessment

Knowledge:
- understands research objectives;
- has compiled a database of similar researchers in the scientific field.
Evaluation – the selection of appropriate literature.
Skills:
- ability to plan and start research work;
- is able to use independently scientific methods necessary for the independently selected investigation and their application in the conduct of research;
- critically evaluates and uses the information found in the scientific literature.
Evaluation - analysis of the research plan and results of the first acquisition, types and number of selected literature sources
Competencies:
- identifies independently the source of information needed for scientific research, promote research.
Evaluation - discussion with supervisor.

Course Content(Calendar)

Doctoral student independently:
1. Establishes a research work plan.
2. Develops a study calendar plan.
3. Selects the most appropriate research methods.
4. Launches the studies according to plan.
5. Continues to supplement the list of sources of scientific literature.
6. Supplements the review of literature research results.
7. Submits the literature review and the first results of research to the supervisor.

Requirements for awarding credit points

Discussion of the research plan, results of the research, review of scientific literature with supervisor.

Description of the organization and tasks of students’ independent work

The doctoral student independently develops the research plan, initiates research, and, if necessary, consults with supervisor.

Criteria for Evaluating Learning Outcomes

An overview of the research conducted, an initial summary of the obtained results, an overview of the scientific literature sources with at least 30 sources were made.
