Course abstract

The aim of the professional practice is to evaluate the ergonomic situation of the practice place. Student extends and strengthens knowledge of the workplace ergonomics, and the necessary conditions for the employees in the implementation of ergonomic requirements. Students can formulate and recognize the ergonomic risks practically and is able to create assessment of good ergonomics at workplaces in the company or institution. Students prepare proposals for improving ergonomics and safety at a particular place of practice.

Learning outcomes and their assessment

After completing the practise student will have:
knowledge and critical understanding of the role of ergonomics in the place of practice;
skills in formulating and recognizing ergonomic risks, ergonomic assessment of work places in place of practice;
competence to determine the ability of employees to work, to make decisions on the organization of an occupation suitable for ergonomic requirements
