Course abstract

In study course land use planning concept, objectives and content are discussed. Basic requirements what should be followed in establishing and developing the role of agricultural land ownership and land uses are presented. In study course students become acquainted with weaknesses and possibilities for the prevention of farm area, as well as land consolidation as a special land use planning activity. Formation and characteristics of various non-agricultural land properties and land use procedures are discussed. Conditions and procedures of land use project is drawn up.

Learning outcomes and their assessment

After the end of the course students will have:
• knowledge and insight in land use planning and its importance in development of rational land properties and land uses;
• skills to develop a land use projects;
• competence to assess land property, land use and prevent spatial gaps.
