Within the framework of the course work, a project for the performance of groundworks is developed - site planning and excavation, as well as a technological map for both of these work processes. During the planning of work processes, the machine set of planing works and mechanized development of the ground is optimized and the calendar schedule of works is developed.
When developing a term paper, students know the composition and course of technological design of construction works. Is able to compile a construction project and a technological map of a specific type of work. When developing a term paper, students are able to make a technical and economic comparison of construction works.
1. Issuance of output data, explanation of the course work content. Introduction to the sources of information to be used.
2. Clarification of geodetic elevation marks and the task of vertical planing.
3. Estimation of the amount of earthworks for site planning and excavation.
4. Determination of the average ground movement distance.
5. Determining the composition of the work to be performed and the initial selection of machine sets.
6. Details of work to be performed and estimation of workload.
7. Technical and economic evaluation of a set of machines, final choice of machines to be used.
8. Selection of the optimal machine set.
9. Spatial and technological design of construction work flows.
10. Preparation of construction work calculation.
11. Compilation of a work schedule.
12. Compilation of the technological map of the construction work process.
13. Calculation of technical and economic indicators of the work performance project.
14. Compilation of a description of works.
15. Graphic design of the work performance project.
16. Defending the course paper. Industry news.
Developed and defended course work - test with a mark.
Independently gets acquainted with the construction legislation applicable in Latvia, as well as with the application of State standards regarding the quality of construction works, studies the latest books, periodicals and Internet resources.
The student is able to confirm the acquired knowledge and skills on the topics discussed in the course plan (answering the control questions)
