Course abstract
Review artifical structures. Materials for design bridges and culvers. Foundations of bridge piers; calculations. Wooden bridges. Principial systems. Location and calculation of junctions of bridge beams. Piers of wooden bridges. Bridges of stone, concrete, reinforced concrete and metal. Bridge piers. Pedestrian foot bridges. Constructions of culverts and principles of their calculation.
