Students get acquainted with most important geometric and optical regularities on which the basis of geodetic instruments manufacturing is formed; in geodesy used optical and electronic instruments and other measuring tools, their design, instrument classification by application, design and accuracy. Students practically learn how to do instruments, etc. measuring tools field tests, as well as identify the necessary verification checks on collimators stands.
Students acquire:
• knowledge of most important geometric and optical regularities on which the basis of geodetic instruments manufacturing is formed; optical and electronic geodetic instruments classification, their design and testing.
• skills to apply theoretical knowledge in practice – are able to fulfill the most important geodetic instrument checks and make adjustments.
• competence: 1) to independently address the challenges and faced with problems to solve them independently or together with teachers, 2) able to assess the geodetic instruments and other measuring tools technical condition and their compliance with the requirements; 3) collaborate with teachers and classmates.
