Research III

Course abstract

The study course is intended for carrying out research work according to the research plan, summarizing and analyzing the results obtained. The collection and processing of scientific information related to specific studies will be continued. The literature review section of the doctoral thesis will be prepared.

Learning outcomes and their assessment

Knowledge:
- knows the research methodology;
- knows how to elaborate the literature review section of the doctoral thesis.
Evaluation - selection of appropriate sources of scientific literature, its systematization and application for preparation of the literature review section of the doctoral thesis.
Skills:
- able to carry out research in a planned manner, if necessary is able to make appropriate corrections;
- able to critically evaluate and compare information found in scientific literature, create the literature review.
Evaluation – analysis of the research process and literature review of the doctoral thesis.
Competencies:
- conducts the research independently, is able to evaluate the research process and if necessary make adjustments.
Evaluation - discussion with the supervisor.

Course Content(Calendar)

The doctoral student independently:
1. Conducts the research according to the calendar plan, if necessary, makes adjustments.
2. Supplements and clarifies the research methodology.
3. Accumulates and summarizes the research results obtained.
4. Performs preliminary processing and analysis of the results obtained.
5. Create the literature review section of the doctoral thesis.
6. Submits the research results obtained and the literature review section to the supervisor.

Requirements for awarding credit points

Discussion with the supervisor about the research results and literature review section of the doctoral thesis.

Description of the organization and tasks of students’ independent work

The doctoral student independently conducts research, works on the literature review section of the doctoral thesis by consulting with the supervisor.

Criteria for Evaluating Learning Outcomes

The literature review section of the doctoral thesis has been prepared, pre-processing and analysis of the research results is carried out. The number of sources of scientific literature has been supplemented as necessary.
