Course abstract

In the course of developing the course work, the student's theoretical knowledge in company management is strengthened. Skills and abilities in the analysis and evaluation of company management methods and management functions, in determining the factors affecting the obtained results, in developing possible solutions to problems are promoted.
The purpose of learning the study course is to apply the student's theoretical knowledge and practical skills, to assess the student's abilities and skills to independently analyze, evaluate and interpret the company's management process.

Learning outcomes and their assessment

1. Able to demonstrate theoretical knowledge about the evaluation of the company management process and its results in a specific company - course work, presentation and defense of the course work
2. Able to substantiate the relevance of the subject of the course work, define the goals and tasks, choose and use the most appropriate research methods in its development - course work, presentation and defense of the course work
3. Able to process, analyze and systematize information for the development of course work - course work
4. Can draw conclusions by analyzing information, able to develop and justify proposals - course work, presentation and defense of course work
5. Able to independently structure the development process of the course work - course work
6. Able to independently find the necessary company data and information for the development of a course work - course work
7. Able to publicly defend the results of the course work, present the developed proposals and justify the personal opinion, as well as answer questions - presentation and defense of the course work

Course Content(Calendar)

Course plan/content
1. Selection of the topic of the course work and coordination with the supervisor
2. Acquaintance with methodological instructions for developing and defending the course work.
3. Collecting and systematizing theoretical literature.
4. Legal aspects related to the chosen topic and their integration in the management process.
5. Obtaining the necessary data and information.
6. Development of analytical parts of the course work.
7. Development of main conclusions and proposals.
9. Preparation of a presentation to defend the course work.
10. Defense of the course work.

Requirements for awarding credit points

Graded assessment. The rating consists of:
• development of the course work,
• coursework presentation,
• answers to questions.

Description of the organization and tasks of students’ independent work

The student independently produces the course paper according to the chosen topic, in consultation with the supervisor. The student submits a fully completed, signed course paper to the supervisor before the deadline. The course paper is assessed by the supervisor and, if it meets the requirements, the supervisor accepts it for defence.

Criteria for Evaluating Learning Outcomes

The supervisor of the course organizes a public defense. The place and time of the defense is determined by the supervisor of the course. Evaluation criteria for defense of the work: topicality of the topic; assessment of goal and task achievement; implementation of applied methods; work structure and presentation; used literature and sources of information; presentation skills. In the thesis defense, the student answers questions about the developed course work and the researched topic. As a result, the course supervisor evaluates the developed and defended course work.
