Learning outcomes and their assessment
Students obtain deep knowledge in the narrow field of science depending on specialization, students obtain deepen skills to study scientific literature. Students are able to perform experiments and/or observations and prepare presentation about literature review and methods of research.
A properly formatted review of scientific literature and description of research methods are submitted. The amount and quality of literature sources correspond to the theme of the Master Thesis and to the level of Master studies – primary sources of literature (papers in scientific journals and conference proceedings etc.) are used.

1. Literature studies and preparation of literature review. 110 h
2. Description of methods and materials. 27 h
3. Conduction of experiments/observations. 130 h
4. Presentation and defence of literature review. 30 h
Requirements for awarding credit points
A test without a grade. Literature review should be submitted and defended.
Description of the organization and tasks of students’ independent work
Preparation of the literature review, conduction of trials/experiments and performance of observations/analyses.
Criteria for Evaluating Learning Outcomes
A properly formatted independent work summarizing the already accomplished tasks of the Master Thesis according to the plan of investigations is submitted.
