The aim of the study course is to learn the basic principles of scientific work development, modeling and organization of scientific work, basic methodological data processing. Gets acquainted with summarizing the results of research work in a publication, forming a discussion, interpreting the results and presenting them.
1. Is able to understand the course and significance of the process of development of geoinformatics and remote sensing scientific work - test work.
2. Is able to independently obtain research data and apply research methods for data analysis and interpretation in geoinformatics and remote sensing - test work.
3. Knows how to summarize the research in a publication and prepare a presentation for presenting the results in geoinformatics and remote sensing - a test.

2. Topics of scientific work in Geoinformatics and distance research (1h)
3. Organization of research process, development of research plan (1h)
4. Research object and acquisition of research data (2 h)
5. Data collection and storage (1 h)
6. Application of research methods in geoinformatics and remote sensing (5 h)
7. Requirements and conditions for preparation of the publication (2 h)
8. Basic principles and conditions of preparation of the presentation (1 h)
9. Research presentation skills (1 h)
Test work - Scientific work in geoinformatics and remote sensing I (1h)
Part-time studies:
All topics specified for full-time studies are implemented, but the number of contact hours is 1/2 of the specified number of hours
Test with a mark. It consists of a written test on the theoretical subject acquired in the study course.
Studies of scientific and study literature required for the acquisition of professional competencies of the study course, application of research methods in the acquisition and processing of selected research data.
The test with a mark is received after the knowledge test in the written test at the end of the study course.
