Course abstract

The aim of the professional practice is to acquaint the students about environmental protection questions at wok place. The purpose in the practice to widen the students knowledge of environmental protection question in the study course, the normative documents, to organize and use these documents.

Learning outcomes and their assessment

After completing the practice student will have: knowledge - theory about environment protection, topicality and legislation in practice, understanding of national, municipal and corporate actions on environmental protection, regulations about use of environmental resources and requirements of the environmental performance in case of polluting activities in practice (presentation);
Skills - ability to manage the environmental terminology and to identify and evaluate main pollutants of the environment in practice (report); competence- knowledge and practical skills about environment protection and sustainable development are acquired in the context of laws and regulations in practice (report).

Course Content(Calendar)

1. Familiarity with the work environment in place of practice. Placement of records. Development of documentation.
2. Assessment of the risk of environmental contamination of manufacturing accidents. Summary of the information obtained. Presentation.

Requirements for awarding credit points

The professional practice report shall be reviewed, evaluated and given the conclusion on its crediting by the head of the company's practice. The signature and signature of the report shall be certified with a stamp. The report must be submitted to the section on the date specified by the teacher responsible (no later than two weeks after the end of the practice), while the student should present the results of the practice (10 min. speech). Together with the practice report, an assignment must also be submitted with the characteristics given therein. The report shall be evaluated with a check mark in the 10-party system.
