Course abstract

Choice of theme of the master thesis according to study program. The theme and supervisor of master thesis are confirmed. Working out of individual study plan, tasks of the master theses and planning of experiments.

Learning outcomes and their assessment

Students obtain knowledge in the topicality of master theses theme in chosen study sub-sector - presentation.
Obtain deepen skills in working with scientific literature – presentation.
Competency to analyse and summarise information collected in scientific literature and are critical in evaluation of it and are good in ability to choose methods of research – presentation.

Course Content(Calendar)

1. Choice and approval of the theme of the Master's thesis.
2. The development of the purpose, tasks and hypothesis of the master's thesis.
3. Justification for topicality of the Master's thesis. The object of the research.
4. Realization of the research.

Requirements for awarding credit points

Approval of theme and supervisor of the Master Thesis at VMF Council Meeting.
Implementation of individual research plan and report to the scientific supervisor at the end of the semester.
Report on the progress is provided in the form of a presentation (up to 10 minutes) within the deadline set by the course supervisor.
Test without mark.

Description of the organization and tasks of students’ independent work

Studies of scientific literature and realizing of the research work.

Criteria for Evaluating Learning Outcomes

A Master's student certifies his/her knowledge with a report in the form of a presentation.
