Course abstract

Students examine the production and service essential of economic processes and regularities. Acquire knowledge about the types of services and systems, production types and capacities, about production cycle and supply of material resources. Students learn methods and models that will allow better planning and control the consumption of inputs. Will be able to make the production plan and adapt it to organization of technological process.

Learning outcomes and their assessment

Knowledge about production and service theory, history and newest trend. Key concepts of production resources, production functions, understanding production process and regularities with production manager's role in it. Understanding the principles of the organization of production, it’s planning and the appropriateness of concrete production enterprise;
skills to apply production organization and planning methods in production enterprises. To define classification of the production process and to develop production plans for the company. Distinguish between the production process shapes and types. To develop order of priority and tread of production process, on the basis of mathematical calculations about input quantities, cost capacity, movement and depreciation. Able to work effectively with procurement planning;
competence – acquired knowledge and practical skills to manage the production processes of production enterprises, as well as efficient and rational use of product.
