Course abstract

During lectures and independently studying literature, students gain insight into the essence, content and role of management in the process of interaction between the company's internal and external environment. He acquaints himself with the history of the development of management theory, acquires management function and the need for their delegation. During practical classes, students develop the skills, competences, and way of thinking necessary for the manager of the hospitality company.

Knowledge
Knows and understands: the nature and phenomena of management processes, methodology of analysis of management processes and management of the organization; the nature of personnel management, concepts, recruitment methods; identifying and analyzing your own leadership and leader's potential, the necessary competences and skills in managing a team, team and organization.

Able to reasonably choose and successfully analyze management processes in an organization using the tools of management methods; to organize the personnel planning according to the needs of the company, to organize the selection and evaluation of personnel; obtain information and develop a simulation of the company's management process.

2. Management theories, their development.
3. The nature, structure, types of organization. Organization's external and internal environment Organizational culture.
4. Manager. Personality characteristics of the driver. The style of management, its types, efficiency. Property, authority, essence and influence in management processes. Leader.
1st Test. The essence of management, the development of management science, the external and internal environment of the organization, management functions, management style, power, authority and leader.
7 Planning, the nature and types.
8 Decisions, nature, types. Decision making process. The essence of communication in enterprises.
9 Control, its types and role in the organization. Work environment safety control management.
10 Motivation and motivation theories.
12 Personnel management. (2 hours)
13 Team building principles and management.
14 Conflicts, their nature, types and solutions.
15 The art of speaking and persuasion.
16 Time and stress management.

2nd control work. Communication, personnel management, motivation and motivation, conflicts, manager, presentation and influence art, self and stress management.

Requirements for awarding credit points

Written exam
Exam tasks include:
• tests for all subjects taught in the study course;

• practical tasks for the development of the skills, competences and way of thinking required for the entrepreneur and the manager.

Criteria for Evaluating Learning Outcomes

Independent works are assessed in accordance with the assessment procedure established in the independent work.
Exam evaluation depends on the semester cumulative assessment:
• 1st Test: 15 points
• 2. test score: 15 points
• Practical works 10 points
• Independent work: 20 points
• Exam: 40 points.

10 points make up the exam mark for 1 point.
