During the motor vehicle repair internship the students get acquainted with the up-dated repair methods at automobile service or repair enterprises. The obtained knowledge can be used in understanding of the repair technologies in order to ensure qualitative expertise of ground motor vehicles.
• Familiar with vehicle repair and/or renewal work in technology – internship review
• Able to choose and justify the best suitable and most efficient vehicle repair and/or recovery technology; continually evaluate the reasons for the failure of vehicles and take the necessary measures to prevent failures – internship review
1. Choice and justification of the place of practice. (15 h)
2. Business direction of company, services provided. (15 h)
3. Familiarity with the company structure of the practice site. (15 h)
4. The company's engineering staff, its tasks and responsibilities. (15 h)
5. Technological process for the repair of vehicles, provision thereof. (15 h)
6. Technological equipment for the repair of vehicles, use thereof. (15 h)
7. Metalworking technologies, machines and tools. (15 h)
8. The company's prospective technological equipment, it choice and justification. (15 h)
9. Volumes, documents and circulation of the company's work. (15 h)
10. Recovery methods for sub-assemblies and aggregates. (15 h)
11. Repair costs, cost lines, calculation. (15 h)
12. Diagnostic principles used by the company. (15 h)
13. Visual inspection as one of the essential principles for the diagnosis of cars in distress. (15 h)
14. Customers of the company, their characteristics. (15 h)
15. The logistics chain of spare parts. (15 h)
16. A sketch of the company's production zone. (15 h)
Internship realized of at least 6 weeks. Prepared and defended summary of internship – review. Type of test – internship with a grade.
Preparation of the internship review according to the study course plan.
The assessment of the internship depends on the size and quality of the internship review, as well as on the ability to demonstrate the knowledge acquired during practice.
