Technological Study Work Practice

Course abstract

The aim of the study course is to get acquainted with technical maintenance methods and equipment. Technological training practice takes place in the laboratories of the institute (automobile assembly laboratory, technical diagnostics laboratory and engine testing laboratory).

Learning outcomes and their assessment

Knowledge - diversity of car unit constructions and their comparison. Assessment - practice manager's reference.
Skills - to apply modern equipment for technical diagnostics and maintenance of cars. Assessment - practice manager's reference.

Competence - to choose and justify the most suitable maintenance technology and equipment. Assessment - practice manager's reference.

Course Content(Calendar)

1. Automobile assembly construction and diagnostic equipment in the laboratories of the faculty - 44h.
2. Car service structures. Tasks and justifications of staff. Technical diagnostic and maintenance equipment and their application - 34h.

3. Defending the practice report - 2h.

Requirements for awarding credit points

A summary of the practice has been developed and defended. Test with a mark.

Description of the organization and tasks of students’ independent work

Preparation of practice report - 80h.

Criteria for Evaluating Learning Outcomes

• Full-time internship.
• Applications for Bachelor's thesis.
• Presentation of the practice report.

• Test form test with a mark.
