Course abstract

In the qualification work, students prove their theoretical and practical preparation and ability to solve issues related to transport science, draw reasonable conclusions and make proposals independently. The defence of the qualification paper shows the graduate's ability to present his / her work in public, his / her ability to orientate in topical issues of the field.

Learning outcomes and their assessment

Knows: vehicle expertise methodology and technologies; organization, performance, design and presentation of research results.
Able to: apply modern technologies in the performance of vehicle expertise work; to apply the obtained knowledge during the realization of engineering research.
Competences: to choose the most suitable methods and technologies for solving engineering problems in the field of vehicle expertise; carry out engineering research independently.

1. Approval of the topic, development of the terms of reference and methodology. (1 week)

Requirements for awarding credit points

Qualification work has been prepared in good quality and submitted within the set deadline, which has been drawn up in accordance with the existing requirements, a positive feedback has been received from the reviewer, and the defense of the work in the State Final Examination Commission has been successfully completed. Exam.

Description of the organization and tasks of students’ independent work

Preparation of a qualification paper, which is led and corrected by the supervisor of the qualification paper.

Criteria for Evaluating Learning Outcomes

1. Observance of work preparation rules and requirements, incl. work design.
2. Quality and scope of the developed work.
3. A presentation of the qualification paper has been prepared.
4. Qualification work defended in the presence of the commission and demonstration of knowledge of the related issues during the defense by presenting the work and answering the questions of the commission.
