Course abstract

In study course components of motor vehicle transmission, classification of them, motion system, construction of wheels and classification of the is discussed. Students get acquaint with steering and brake systems. View in classification and constructions of tractors is given. Descriptive parameters of tractors. Hydrosystems and accoutrements of tractors. Crop farming machines, construction.

Learning outcomes and their assessment

Knowledge: in the design and operation of vehicle transmission elements, as well as in crop machinery.
Skills: to evaluate the operation of vehicle transmission elements, the peculiarities of the operation of tractor equipment and the design solutions of crop machinery. Competence: to describe the peculiarities of vehicle transmission operation, to know the characteristic parameters of tractor equipment and, according to the operating conditions, to choose the appropriate tractor equipment, to choose the crop production machine appropriate for each specific place and culture.
Test 1 - Structure and operation of the power transmission.
Test 2 - Construction of tractor equipment.
Test 3 - Construction of agricultural machinery.
Able to independently determine the technical condition of vehicle transmission and agricultural machinery elements - laboratory works.

Criteria for Evaluating Learning Outcomes

Knowledge in the construction of vehicles, terminology. The exam grade is calculated as the arithmetic mean of the two exam assignments and the mean valuation of the tests.
