Course abstract

The aim of the study course is to deepen knowledge on current phenomena and processes in society using modern ideas of social theories. Knowledge, skills and competencies will allow to analyse and to solve problems of contemporary society and organizations.

Learning outcomes and their assessment

• Knowledge – master students are familiar with main concepts and ideas of postmodern social theories, they are aware of topical themes and problems of society.
• Skills – ability to use them in order to analyse different social problems.
• Competence – ability to choose appropriate conceptions to solve important issues in society and to implement innovative look in activities of organizations.
