Course abstract

Within the course paper the students develop their research skills, learn to formulate the research hypothesis – to define the problem, the aim and tasks of research, to apply the most appropriate methods of work. The students acquire the analysis of scientific literature, the planning and implementation of empirical research, the processing, systematization of obtained data, the defining of conclusions, the preparation of references and the presentation of their work.

Learning outcomes and their assessment

Knowledge on the structure of a scientific research paper, research methods, theoretical and empirical research. Skills – to analyze the scientific literature; to plan and implement the empirical studies; to process and systemize the obtained data; to define the conclusions; to prepare references and to present one’s own work. Competences – the students acquire knowledge and practical skills for the development and presentation of a scientific research paper.
