Course abstract

Students acquire knowledge, skills and reflection abilities including the aspects of: ethics of research, pedagogical measurements, philosophical aspects, research thesis design, methods of descriptive statistics for data processing, theoretical and empirical research and research methods.

Learning outcomes and their assessment

After completing the course, student will have knowledge and critical insight of theoretical and empirical research in pedagogy and their basic concept; skills to formulate, critically evaluate and coordinate key issues of the study (research topic, aim etc.); to choose appropriate research and data processing techniques for a particular study and to ground their preference, to interpret the data results and formulate relevant conclusions for the results; competence in cooperation with the supervisor to do the pedagogical study for Bachelor’s Thesis, to use results of other studies practically; to conduct pupil’s research work.
