Requirements for awarding credit points

Study work should be designed and defended.

Description of the organization and tasks of students’ independent work

Students can develop study work on the following topics:
1. Structural analysis and technical calculations of wood processing machine manufactured in Latvia.
2. Developing a principled project for a new workshop for the performance of a specific technological operation.
3. Mechanisation of operations by working with a series-produced wood processing machine.
4. Reconstructions of a series-produced workmachine.

Criteria for Evaluating Learning Outcomes

Study work assessment consists of working compliance with task (70%) and answers to questions, working defensively (30%).
