Course abstract

The notion of logistics, goals and ways of acting. Theoretical basics of logistics. The analysis of timber harvesting process from the logistics point of view. Obstacles effecting logistics implementation in the process of timber procurement. The directions of the development of logistics in timber harvesting.

Learning outcomes and their assessment

In this course master will get knowledge about logistics and theoretical background, types and targets of logistics. It will give understanding about importance of logistics in timber harvesting. After graduating this course master is competent to use basic principles of logistics in his scientific research works.
