Course abstract

Students acquire theoretical and practical knowledge of public and private forestry management organizations, the business forms in the forest sector, the business environment, provision of resources, production and work processes of organizations, logistical organization of the forest sector enterprises, production quality control organization, financial management of enterprises and economic performance assessment methods.

Learning outcomes and their assessment

After completing the course student will have:
Knowledge – of business start up procedures, it planning principles, production and work process organizations methods, financial management and business assessment methods;
Skills – depending on the type of economic activity to choose the most effective strategy;
Competence – practically to deal with all issues related to starting up a business and ensuring its functioning.
