Course abstract

The course introduces with the prerequisites for a complex forest management forest reclamation and the improvement of infrastructure, the role of forest roads as transport routes to access every forest compartment and to ensure forest protection and timber transport.

Learning outcomes and their assessment

Students acquire :
• Knowledge about importance of melioration and building roads for forest management, about conditions of projecting, building and maintenance forest infrastructure objects;
• Skills to preparation of projecting tasks for infrastructure objects;
• Competence how to assess project and quality of fulfilled building works.
