During the study course students are get acquainted with multi functional forest machines and their operational technology, timber primary transport vehicles and corresponding technological equipment, technology for biomass production, round timber yards equipment and technology, mechanization of forest soil cultivation for regeneration, the design of technological process in logging.
Students will get an expanded knowledge about forest operations technology and machinery. Skills will be obtained to compare different variants of realization of forest operations from the technical, technological, social and ecological point of view. The competence level, attained by students, will be sufficient for the assessment of the usefulness of implementation of alternative technological solutions.
