It forms the theoretical basis for both the commencement of practical training, the right decision-making in the production conditions for timber preparation in felling areas and the grooming of young forest stands. Provide the necessary expertise for the correct and safe use and maintenance of motor vehicles in technical order. The focus is on operations technology.

Learning outcomes and their assessment

After the course, students will have:
• Knowledge - Understanding the construction of motor vehicles for use in forest works, their operation and prevention of disturbances (test)
• Skills – skills to choose suitable motor tools for various forest-friendly and logging jobs (laboratory work)
• Competency - Responsible use of performance technologies (laboratory work)
