Course abstract
The aim of study course is to give general knowledge about Latvia University of Agriculture, Forest faculty, professional study programme of forest engineers, study regulations as well as to introduce with the administration of forest industry. During study course students learn characteristic of forest industry, its importance in the economy of Latvia. Problems and development directions of forest industry are analysed.
Learning outcomes and their assessment
During study course student gains knowledge about study process in university, structure of forest industry administration, gets familiar with availability of forest industry information and learns to evaluate importance of forest industry in national economy.
