Course abstract

The main task of the course is to give the knowledge according the latest researches about the structure and functions of different organs and organ systems, their interaction and practical versions, using the latest anatomical research methods and interactive anatomy programmes. The purpose of course is to provide the students with the knowledge about the structure, development and functions of the alimentary system, cardiovascular system, respiratory and urinary system. Special attention in the study process is dedicated to the central, peripheral and vegetative nervous system.

Learning outcomes and their assessment

• Knowledge: to know interconnection of the general structures of the human body and to understand the structures and the functions of the alimentary, cardiovascular, respiratory, urinary and the nervous system.
• Skills: to point anatomy structure – topography of internal organs: location, parts and different positions of internal organs.
• Competence: to analyse relations of the anatomical structures and their functions.
